What a load of rubbish i live in Brisbane and i can drive to Byron Bay in a little over 2 hours and last year we went to Airlie and it took a little over 10 hours all at the speed limit. so i don't know how it could take someone 16 hours. Enjoy Airlie and the islands it rocks
